The time it takes to complete a solar installation depends on the system size. Generally, a 5kW solar system can be installed in 6-8 hours, which means most standard residential installations can be completed in a single day. Larger systems or more complex installations may take additional time.

A standard split system air-conditioner installation typically takes 4-6 hours when the outdoor unit is positioned directly behind the indoor unit in a back-to-back setup. However, if the outdoor unit is located elsewhere on the same dwelling, you should allow an additional 2-3 hours for the installation, depending on the complexity and distance.
